May - June 2010
Ian’s running efforts continue at pace. Latest highlights include the UK’s first Kilomathon, marathon distance of 26 but in kilometres instead of miles. Not so much Eurofication, just runners finding another challenge! This one was from Nottingham to Derby and was completed in 1 hour 53 mins. He has since completed his second Edinburgh Marathon (proper miles!) in 3 hours 47 mins. An injury sustained on the Blaydon Race held him back a bit but he was fit for the Great North 10K race, finishing in 40 mins.

After a busy run up to Christmas, the staff needed to let their hair down and PARTY! So we headed up to Burt’s Hotel in Melrose for our Christmas celebrations, enjoyed a lovely dinner and drank far too much! Thanks to the Henderson family and staff for making us welcome, as usual!

Ian Casson, our delivery driver, ran the Edinburgh Marathon in 4 hours, 6 mins in the sweltering sun! Despite finding the last 10K tough, Ian went on to achieve this brilliant time in his first ever marathon. Well done, Ian!
Recycling......
If you are not sure what to do with used toner and inkjet cartridges, just give us a call. We will be happy to collect them free of charge and pass them on to the Great North Air Ambulance to generate funds for their work. They can provide full accountability for the process involved.
